Tarkwa Bay is a sheltered beach along the Lagos harbor. It is accessible by a ‘tarzan’ boat from Maroko or ‘fiki’ boat from under Falomo Bridge on Victoria Island, or you could take a boat from CMS bus top, usually cost 300 Naira per head and they charge N3000 (Three Thousand Naira) per head(to and fro) for Fiki’s boat. This beach provides a pleasant outing with safe swimming conditions, even for small children. Tourist may obtain deck chairs and an awning on the beach , for relaxed, casual comfort at a haggled fee. Local youths sell delicious pineapples, coconuts and variety of other delightful treats.
Tarkwa bay and the community needs a lot of help from the government, there are no gazebos just huts by the locals, they usually charge about 300 fro chairs and same for tables.

- If you need a beach getaways, there are chalet which cost 60 thousand naira per night at the Jaybeach resort at the Tarkwa Bay(a chalet can accommodate 6 people)
